O.H. Ingram River Aged Announces Effort to Support Hospitality Workers

Brown Water Spirits LLC, having just launched the first release of their O.H. Ingram River Aged Series, has announced a fundraising effort that will see a portion of all on-premise sales go towards benefiting hospitality workers.

In partnership with Lipman Brothers, O.H Ingram River Aged will donate $10 from every bottle sold to on-premise establishments from now until the end of November. All proceeds will go towards nonprofit organizations that support those working in the hospitality industry.

“We know how hard this industry and its workers have been hit by this pandemic,” said Hank Ingram, founder and proprietor of O.H. Ingram River Aged Whiskey. “We wanted to show our appreciation for everything they do, knowing that they’re going through an especially difficult period right now. With our first bottles entering restaurants and bars over the last couple of weeks, we want them to know we see them as partners and that we can’t do what we do without them.”

Hank and his team launched the first of the Ingram River Aged Series, O.H. Ingram River Aged Straight Whiskey, earlier this month. The Straight Whiskey did well in its initial market introduction in Middle Tennessee, and the company has since accelerated its expansion plans to East Tennessee markets, including Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Tri-Cities. The next in the series, a Straight Rye, will be available in November.

“We’ve been pleased with how folks have responded to our whiskey and we hope to continue our positive momentum,” continued Ingram. “Our process of aging our whiskey in a floating rickhouse on the Mississippi is unique and creates a spirit the really reflects its environment. As consumers are able to try O.H. Ingram River Aged Whiskey, they’re getting to taste the result of this process,” said Ingram.
