O.H. Ingram River-Aged Rye Whiskey is a limited edition straight rye whiskey entirely matured on a floating rickhouse atop a barge on the Mississippi River in Wickliffe, Kentucky. The brand refers to the unique effect of this life spent on the water as “mellowed on the Mississippi.” The distillate itself is sourced from MGP, and is aged for a minimum of three years before being bottled at 98 proof.

TASTING NOTES

“The nose offers par-baked dough and spearmint at first, followed by vanilla extract and graham crackers. The palate is thin up front, revealing sour cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg, and rye spice, followed by candied orange peels and cranberries. The finish is short, with black pepper, toasted oak, cedar shavings, and cigar wrapper.”
