Hank sat down with boys of Bourbon Lens podcast to shoot the breeze and to talk about Ingram River Aged and the unique aging technique it employs. It was a lively conversation – always helped by a nice glass or two of Ingram River Aged – and they talked about a number of different topics, some about the industry and some not.

While Scott, Michael and Jake of Bourbon Lens may have been a bit be skeptical of non-traditional aging techniques, we explained why our first-of-its-kind floating rickhouse is hardly a shortcut in the aging process. As he said, Hank has patiently waited and released straight whiskey (2-4 years old) which has been enhanced by river aging.

We sent them a sample of Ingram River Aged Straight Rye ahead of the episode and they were actually the first people outside of Brown Water Spirits to taste it, which had not been released at the time of recording. It was great to see folks try the Straight Rye for the first time and talk through the tasting notes and character of the spirit as they experienced it live.

Bourbon Lens wrapped the conversation up with this: “We think you’ll be impressed with these whiskies and, as their distribution grows, you should check them out.”

We couldn’t agree more!
